Space Mountain Tips and Tricks and how to Avoid Motion Sickness
We love Space Mountain! Unfortunately, its not for everyone. Below are some tips and tricks for having the best time!
In order to ride Space Mountain, you must be at least 44 inches tall and not exceed 79 inches in height. Additionally, you should be in good health, free from neck, back, or heart issues, and not have any recent surgeries or medical procedures that may be aggravated by the ride's intensity.
To avoid motion sickness on Space Mountain, it is recommended to sit in the front of the train as it provides a smoother ride. I always feel like I've been in a game of Mike Tyson's Punchout when I ride in the back. You should also try to focus on a stationary object, like a spot on the wall (hard I know!), to help reduce motion sickness. Furthermore, it's a good idea to keep your head still and avoid looking side to side during the ride, and please, avoid eating or drinking before the ride. Finally, it can be helpful to take motion sickness medication before coming to the park.
